The CMBP is scheduled with an introductory module online and a China module which takes place over 2 weeks, with classes running from 9 am to 12 for the morning session and from 2 pm to 5 pm for the afternoon session. A mix of lectures, case studies, business simulations, and conversations with guest speakers will provide a full learning experience.

Where and when is the program held?

The program will begin with an introductory online module on weekends in April 2024, followed by the on-site China modules from May 12 to May 25, 2024.

How do I apply for this program?

Online applications will be reviewed on a first come, first served basis. After receiving the online application, an online interview will be organized with the candidate. Both successful and unsuccessful candidates will be notified at the earliest possible time. Please apply online using the "Application" sub-menu above.

Do I need to know Mandarin Chinese or have any particular qualifications to apply?

Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is not required. While full command of the English language is absolutely necessary, as the working language of the program is English, participants will be selected among those applicants who can make the strongest case as to their competent commitment to a business/managerial career with China at its core. Applicants will be evaluated according to their qualifications, motivation, and potential.

Do I need to have some knowledge of economics, business or management to apply?

No: the crash courses developed for CMBP have been designed especially to equip talented graduate students and recent graduates with essential competence and tools for an effective business career across the Euro-Mediterranean region and China. In the past editions participants have come from the following backgrounds:

What are the tuition fees?

Regular tuition fees are set at EUR 2,200 for applicants from the three Steering Partners*; at EUR 2,500 for applicants from partner institutions** and at EUR 2,800 for all other candidates.

An Early Bird Fee is offered to candidates applying by March 1, 2024: EUR 2,000 for candidates from Steering Partners*, EUR 2,200 for candidates from partner institutions** and EUR 2,400 for all other candidates.

Will I receive a certificate upon completion of the CMBP?

Yes, of course: the certificate will be produced by the Zhejiang International Business School (ZIBS) and the TOChina Hub.

Will I be provided with accommodation?

Fees cover tuition, teaching materials, transfers from Beijing to the other cities included in the program, and access to Peking University campuses across the three cities. Participants must take care individually of their visa application (requiring swift action upon confirmation of being admitted to the program), travel to and from China, accommodation, insurance, and any other expense.

Will there be on-site support there?

Do I need a visa?

Yes, unless you are a PRC citizen or you are already in mainland China at the start of the program. The CMBP Program Manager will offer timely advice to all selected participants in the month of June.
